Definitely NOT me !!
Because I’ve learn a lot with my T68 !!
Let summarize what will happen with any new product, like the P800 :
1. They said it will hit the market on Q3/2002 which means you’ll be lucky if you got it before Q3/2003 !!!
2. You’ll rush to buy one, just to discover that half of the promised functions are gone !!
3. 3 month later, they’ll announce a P800i, with all the functions.
4. You’ll have to wait 6 more month before your P800 will have the update “equal to the P800i”…!!!
But I’m really happy to see you guys so impatient about the P800 ! I’ll have a lot of fun reading all your disappointed posts here at Esato…

But, I don't think it'll come before january 2003. There are always huge delays, count on that.
I might by Nokia 6610, 7650 or 7210 instead.

I dont think so.
is now bad on the market and will need do maximum to increase its market-hold. So will release P800 in Q3, not later.

Oh.. come on. It's a fact. SonyEricsson's P800 is much much better than 7650. Both in design and functionalities. I think that 99% of the Esato users agree with me on this one!

OK, I used a lot of Nokia phone before (and no problem), I am using Nokia CryptoCluster now.
I dont say Nokia is batter or is better, I only say that P800 is more better than N7650 (whitch is not available now and was promised in Q2 /Q2 ends within one week/)
For e-mail & web: maybe as midlet or 3rd party application, but it is not in the system (eat part of small 4MB memory).

Yeah.....P800 is gonna kick 7650's ass seriously............7650 don't have memory expansion like
P800 and its screen is small compare to P800, and its not touchscreen..........hence no handwriting recognition................there's no competition between the two........P800 is in the league of its own !!!!!!!! |

My biggest concern is availablitiy. When will we see it? I mean none of the big companies have perfect records for delivering on time what they say they will.
I remember intending to get a Nokia 8310 last year... and waiting... and waiting... and then getting a T39 and beiong very happy. Other people have had bad experiences with SE (i.e. R600... what the hell happened there?)
So WHEN we see the phone in the stores is a big question. And to me, pre-ordering is a waste of time. If the shop doesn't have it, giving them some money doesn't make them have it any faster.

And for release date: one speculation
P800 will be shipped with MIB II game.
MIB II movie comes from Sony Pictures and come to cinema at July 3.
It shoul implicate that P800 will be released ...
... not later than MIB II.
Shoul be.
But I am not serious now, it is only my big wish |

All depens from the price.
the P800 has good quality, lots of features, half handset-half pda and it just has everything.but if u don't know the price u cando nothing!!! ::D
very few people will bye it if the price is more than 740 euros just because they say that they never would bye a mobile for so many money. They say that all this (e.g. ms,camera,java...) are useless to a handset.People want cheap products |
