Yeah know what you mean, me too, I love it but it's a pain trying to work in tight spaces, but at least it's clean, not like working on planes. |

My coputer is no-where near clean. All my fans bring in so much dust!

Yeah it doesn't take long, I finished building mine about 3 months ago and was in there last night and theres quite a bit of dust in there already, don't even use it everyday, not like the laptop, hate to see how dirty this is. |

I havn't tried using a fan filter yet. Do you think they're any good as they block out some of the air?

No I didn't know you could get them, as long as you clean them regularly I think it shouldn't be too bad, otherwise yeah it will restrict airflow. |

Is it true that if a bird flies into a pane's engine, the plane crashes?!!?

Only if it's a really big bird and a really small plane. No, I've seen it quite a bit, it can make a real mess of the engine and really stinks, but you won't crash. All twin engine airplanes like 737, 767 etc must be able to fly on just one engine as part of their approval process, and we saw some good videos when I was training about Rolls Royce, they fire dead chickens in to them to test the damage they will do, a lot still run. |

Yeah no worries, I've seen planes that have had seagulls fly in to the cockpit windows too at high speed, they just shatter the outer pane, cockpit windows are about 2 inches thick and are six layers of glass and acrylic. They have to do lots of testing on everything before it's allowed on an aircraft, has to be strong and light. Lots of titanium |

So why don't they make the plane out of the same material as they make the black box out of? Would increase the number of survivors when the plane crashes...

The black box isn't that special, it's really just a beefed up aluminium box, it's the internal mounting of the recording equipment that's the special part, and now the newer solid state recording equipment is even more resilient. They are pretty strong. Oh yeah and if the whole plane was that strong it would be to heavy to fly
