We need nokia, as concurrance. Think the only brand ( maybe moto yet ) what was, is and will be prefered to compare or measure ( once /// ) se.

Back to the issue, I actually prefer them as two strong competitors as that's what makes them strive to give us better (and cheaper?) products. A merging of the two will probably lead to world domination. (Sky darkens, Thunder and Lightning)

Well, when SONY and Ericsson combined, SONY provided the money at first, while Ericsson made the phones. Then SONY wanted to get in on helping with the designs of the phones.
I think we'd get alot of phones that looked the same, with slightly stable, slightly unstable FW, and alot of zany designs, with crazy keypads and odd add-ons.
