I think that a sim with two numbers would do amazingly well among business men here. I know there are plenty of times when people around me have needed multiple devices so patients/clients didn't have their personal number.

Not only with businessmen mate, but also for those people who just can't have one line operating most of the time . . . say, Doctors, Engineers, IT professionals etc. . .

The technology is available; I've had two voice numbers on one SIM and I've had a voice and a fax line on one SIM.

Me only have one sim for one fone, wherein I have 3 - now! Just a simple guy and not that busy with live calls . . .

Yeah, a SIM with two or three numbers would be great for me, and a programmable one with multi-number support would be the ultimate solution, but maybe we're still far from that.

Sim cards with nice number combinations are good too, as in all 7's, 8's or 9's . . . .

recently one of the local telcos here in the philippines introduced a service which provides two numbers in one sim (SMART) but it's only offered as a post paid plan and only in their bussiness plan (read: very expensive).

i asked about dual sims and its adapters and their corresponding advantages and disadvantages because, like most of the posters here i too have two sim cards because i want to distinguish my professional life with my personal. but i guess i'm still undecided with all the replies i've read. maybe i'll wait a little more for that dual number in one sim card technology to trickle down the line.

thanks dudes for all the info i've garnered in this thread. enjoy se phones and technology!
