Yeah I live South Manc to and it's great! What's not so great is when I went to Salford Uni once on a course people were taking pot shots at everyone with an airifle from the the flats! People were ducking for cover behind their cars!

I think everywhere is pretty much the same though.

I think he means an 6310, where you can record the incoming ir code and save it so that from the phone it could be resent... otherwise i don't believe it.

i once upon a time did it with a gameboy colour and something called a smart com cartridge... it had a programmable tv remote on it where you had to press a button on a real tv remote and the cartridge stored the incoming IR data and applied it to a button on the gameboy...

you needed to stand at a reflected angle from the victims car when he unlocks it and take a "snapshot" of the IR code.

it could be done on t68 i suppose but it would involve major software and possibly hardware changes... i doubt anyone has the power to do it. and i really doubt u can do it with 6210.

and i dont suppose u guys have gameboy color.
(im 15 so its ok.)

im sure cars dont have the same IR as your phone.... have you ever seen an IR port on a car i havent!
Im pretty sure most cars use radio frequencies for alarms, and keyfob things....

jesus christ, ALL cars, even the cheap $99 alarm and power door systems you can buy and install yourself use radio signal to communicate. the deal is that infrared doesnt do its job outdoors. If you ever had a laser tag IR gun that u have to shoot at the small portable target, try it out in the sun. it will no work even at a foot away from the target's sensor. the sun happens to make other lights we cannot see, like infrared.

The BMW's doesn't work with IR, it's all radio. The program you're looking for is UnlckBMW and works over BlueTooth.
