Sometime it's just hard to decide .... but frankly having a T68m/i is of no use/value to you if you DON'T need the so-called features! How many of you will actually spend the extra dough to buy a Bluetooth/IrDA adapter? Not everyone here have a PDA/laptop. Wat is the use of Triband if u probably will stay in your home country (other than USA) for the rest of life? Come on guys, even GPRS is expensive to say the least. I have friends who have bought the T68i n the only thing they do is making calls and SMSing. They know nuts about BT or that WAP 2.0 is available on the phone or even WAP!? They don't give a D A M N and they don't care! Isn't that stupid? Not everyone is "like a fish in water' in front of the PC or at the forefront of wireless technology and they don't need the "packed" T68m/i just to make calls or sending SMS. Buying something that you don't use is a pure waste of money ... just buy what you need. I have the T68m Gold and a 3Com USB BT cos I need internet access on the go ... other than that, I wouldn't recommend the T68m/i just for the sake that it's has the most features. |

I don't think that the T68 is going to be the best colour phone in the future, I just know that the T100 is arse!!!

ejasim, on what basis are you calling the T100 arse?
I'm assuming you're obviously not calling it arse based on its lack of bluetooth/GPRS which the vast majority of phones around don't support (and you wouldn't call most other phones arse), so why exactly don't you like it?

I think it is arse bcos it is big, battery sucks and it's a V-type phone.
I could genereate a big list of phones that I think are arse if demanded......

it has to be said... there isnt a perfect phone and i doubt there ever will be a perfect phone... ther is always something new to add in, or a colour to change, and where one person may have a phone suited for them it may not be suited to others.
(theres the good bit over)
and now for my "opinion" (if it really matters)
i went out with 349.99 - conveniently same CPW price for t68 or t100
the t68 was out of stock, so i went and played around with one in another mobile phone store.
then i tried t100, and was amazed at how poor the phone was.
as far as i noticed there was no need to have a colour screen so good. and the phone itself was absolutely huge (was ex 8310 user
i bought t68 and i have no regrets.
ahem... u still awake?
didnt think so
goodnight.its 00.30 in the morning.

i bow down to the person who makes their t68i beep walk beep flash flash beep walk walk walk run jump shoot. |

scibot> good for you - i personaly think you made the right decision. I too have seen the T100 and yes it's screen is good but that's about it in my opinion - but then again I like to have a phone with a lot of features to kepp me entertained!

I was thingink about buying a T100, too, not instead of my T68, but as the second one (I use 2 sim cards, 1 private, and 1 is from company), it was very simpatic, but today I took a look at it (about its knowledge), and very disappointing. The screen is beautiful, & I like flip-phones, too, but it doesn't reach the level of my old T28, what I changed to a T68 in Novembre (Yes I know, that it know things that T28 didn't; wap, calendar etc, but too many important things it doesn't), & I think it's uncomparable with T68 (I still got no MMS ), so I'll not buy one, maybe waiting for a P800, or buy a T66. |

I have used the Samsung T100 and can say that it is a good phone. At least for the time-being. i dont use ir/bt and they aren't present in T100. Its screen is amazing and the tones are fine. A bit softer though. It could have been with a louder volume. The phonebook is crap, just like all samsungs. 2 battery's included with the phone is a bonus and so is a complete pc connection kit. The package is alright price-wise. MMS is not there in T100 and is not introduced in Dubai as well, so I really didnt take that factor into consideration. If u wanna buy a T100, id suggest u GO for it. But if u can wait for a while, take the Nokia 7650, or if u can wait a bit longer, go for the SE P800. But its entirely upto u. I'd take the T100 if I am the kinda person who frequently changes a phone. That way u can buy other phones later. Anyways, its upto you. But T100 is indeed a good package, if not a good phone! |

everyone seems correct with their argument. well, it is like buying cars.... the car you have will represent your type of personality, sophistication, status, etc.
so, buying an ericsson may be like getting a BMW or an Audi or a Volvo or something. and buying a samsung is like buying a Hyundai or a Kia. of course all of those brands of cars will take you to where you are going. same with the phones, it will connect you to who you want to call or be connected with. but still everyone wishes to have a more expensive car. so if you can settle for a Kia, go for it. but i will buy a BMW or a Porche, and no one can tell me i made the wrong decision.
i prefer an ericsson. |

ey, I tested the T100 and hell, although it had gorgeous color logos and whatever, it's features didn't come close to what the T68 has.
LOL
face the facts, it's a piece of trendy, fashionable crap.
