Can relate to that. Still not over my ex. We were engaged and she finished with me 6 months ago to go to croatia to be with some bloke she met on the internet. Took £3,000 out of my savings and my credit card and left me a we're finished email. Last i heard she joined a pagan society.

Im really sorry to hear that scorpionking...
I am going thought a very f--ked up time too.
I am totally in love with this girl (for about the last year or so), i and know that it is not meant to be, so i just stay quiet about it and keep it inside myself, so she doesnt even know. That is the worst thing i could have done. Now suicide is looking oh so tempting, and that is not a joke... (any sugestions?as in the best way to go)

Been there (back in Nov-Feb)... Suicide is not the best option since you must have other loved ones.. Think about that. After 6 yrs. I'm just a distant memory, or at least that's how it feels. Funny thing is, deep down inside.. I feel she'll return to me (eventually). Problem is, will I be there???

@Richlok: i Know that, but the thought of me not being good enough for the person that i love more than anything in the world, is kind of...pure torture. [addsig]

@folling, Suicide is NOT an option full stop! Unrequited love is a pisser, I've been there a few times myself, all the thinking, dreaming, and wishing that you do, and of course the frustration.

If you do feel suicidal, then go and speak to someone about it. If you feel you can't speak to any family or friends, try someone like a teacher, work collegue you can trust, or phone someone like the Samaritans. Speak to someone rather than bottling negative feelings up and trying to soldier on by yourself.

@sammy_boy thanks for the advice, i know it is not the right thing to do but sometimes it seems the best.

on the good side: after all the s--t im going though, im expecting a major "implosion" pure "me myself and irene style" [addsig]

sorry for hijacking ur thread, but it was something i felt like saying "while we're on the subject". I think what has happened to u must be worse. If i had actually being going out with the girl of my dreams (let it be one month, one year, or 10 years) i definetly would never get over it, and problably wouldnt still be here .
I supose that has something to do with my personality and my ways of thinking, everyone is diferent and manages there problems in different ways.
And i really hope u get over it soon, because the more u think about it the worse it will get.
Good luck mate! [addsig]

Having not seen me, myself, and irene, i have no idea what your're talking about! I find Jim Carry extremely annoying and every time I see him I want to smack him in the face with a lump hammer

I hope it is a good sign anyway, whatever this 'implosion' is!

And don't worry either Folling or Scorpionking, I'm not going to trot out the annoying 'there's plenty more fish in the sea' line, The Streets style or otherwise! I usually find that when someone says that to me, I get an urge to bitch-slap them.

I would not want to become that character... waaaay to scary

Well, it's been 16 months since I broke up with her but almost a year since I wanted her back and nothing has changed. I still love her as much as ever but also know I can't have her back at least at this time (she's moved on). Best thing I can do is distract myself. Just keeping myself busy with things that I luv to do....

@scorpionking u arent alone with such feelings. Face the troubles and the future, dare to ask for help and support at the ppl u like or love, take a sit and make a list of the tasks u have to solve, search in yourself where all gone wrong, judge yourself to be able to learn of wrong handling and trust! May the force be with u to get out from the pit. Never give it up.
