of course S700 WILL NOT be able to play .sis files. It's asburd. The person saying that is either messing around with you, or just plain stupid.

well actually not considering he only said four things and this is how it looks:
s700: radio/yes, 1,3mp cam/yes, mp3/yes(stereo), bt/yes
while nokia:
7610: radio/no, 1mp cam (and if i may add i wasn't thrilled by the quality of it though i admit i haven't tested s700 yet so....)yes, mp3/yes but mono, bt/ yes
if you don't need a symbian phone s700 sure beats 7610 but if were talking about symbian ones then i guess 7610 is the answer mate.... |

| Because it is so described by SE in the official presentation of the product. There are no symbian phones at SE, other than Pxxx series (at least that I know of!).
S700i and S710i are ment to be a blend between a low quality digital camera and a mid-high mobile phone. The mp3/mp4 functions are just bonus. |

OK so to let u know I eventually ended up with a Nokia 7610. It was the only good phone that met my requirements that was actually available in the market. I'll probably get a S700 when it comes out, but I reckon thats gonna be for a while. So in the meantime I shall chill out with my new phone. Thanks for all the replies. Thanks!

@ewap8 - I used to have a Nokia 7610, but decided to let go and buy me an SE K700i last July 24th. The 7610 went into my hands for just 2 weeks . . . making a 'point-to-point' comparison, the K700/i outshines the 7610, and with all the bugs and poor battery life of that of the SE K700i - I guess I manage to be immuned with it for the past 2 months now, still have to upgrade it's formware mate! The SE S700 will definitely be a good choice to buy! |

Yup! The only reason I didnt get the K700 is coz it didnt have a megapixel camera. Camera is my first priority!
Cheers!

Yeah and the price tag goes up to 700 euros if we're lucky. I think i'll wait until it comes to stores to see the price and if it's more than 500,i'll get smtng else.
