Yes you are right, R3B is the firmware for both S700i and S700c.
@Laguna: I have the R2L firmware, and I don't have the shutter sound problem. But some stupid things happen when I enter new numbers or change existing ones in the phone book. |

Yes, though I was lucky in that way, Turkey was one of the countries that the K700i came the latest, so I got the phone way way later than most of you guys did, which was a bit unlucky. |

Has anyone spot any difference in the xml contents between these two firmwares....i mean r2l and r2t.....

I don't know if this answer has anything to do with your question, but on the .pdf file it says, for R2L: SEMC-Browser/4.0.1 and for R2T: SEMC-Browser/4.0.2, so there is an improvement in something, though I don't know what it is. |

SEMC stands for Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications and Browser is presumably the WAP browser. I assume they have made improvements to the browser! I only hope I can now get to the Results page of Google rather than having to do an 'I'm feeling lucky'!!!
My main use for the SE web browser is to do searches, and the output of all the popular search engines fails to display on the K700 (at least R1A, which is all I have at the moment!). |
