wow... interesting.
but its hard to swallow, but the mobile phone might not exist in the near future.
it'll probably be some part of a convergence device. like a multifunction device thats used for any sort of communication. |

yeah I can tell that within 10 years mobile phones wont even be called phones because of all the communication/entertainment/whatever features that will be packed in them |

By then the great moderator-@masseur will be 120 years old ! Though his age won't bother his duties here so much . . . As his total # of posts will 'parallel' with his age as well ! |

Ha, very funny. I can envisage phones to be so small they will be the same size as the smallest Bluetooth headset and will be the height of fashion, worn on the side of the temple like some sort of Borg-implant, with a Bluetooth or similar radio link to a keypad and display surgically attached to the back of one hand, with every type of info available, links to household appliances etc. :-D

The first phone with the latest "MULAR" key technology should be out in time for xmas, its a system using the water molecules in the air to send electronic impulses to a device, these impulses are sent via a small patch under the arm which we control with a thought/muscle contraction & is the first of the new generation of thought controlled "mular"key devices (mentioned in the second post), these with replace manual input systems on phones.

we all know technology will change so much we won't even be able to imagine it. i hope i never lose my interest in it thought like i see most old people now who are out of touch with it.
but its ok, just enjoy all we have now. life is short, you must make the most of it and be happy and healthy, that is number one! Carpe diem! |

Without doubt, the possibilities are enormous. I look forward to still be typing on Esato in another 50 years - at the risk of having my grandchildren making me an object of fun all the time.
No wheelchairs for me though!
