well i consider myself neither stupid or a nokia fan and i bought a series 60 phone.
i bought the phone that best suited my needs. the stupid people are the ones that buy phones based on who makes then and never use them to there full potential |

I totally agree with @slattery69's last post It's not because you are a complete SE die-hard fan/follower or a Nokia as well. It will all depend on the fone's features you will be needing most . Now, since Nokia captured the celfone market sales for some years now , I guess, millions and millions of Nokia buyers just cannot go wrong |

You see will always be the market leader because they think things through u dont need a touch screen on an everyday phone u look like a nerd secondly you will a complete dick looking at your phone for video calls nokia knows this thats what the extra bits are for

bla bla bla.
market leader and stuff doesn't mean anything
most of the "smartphones" are made by nokia but there are others and there bad 2. the interface is just not good in my eyes. i prefere a normal os above it. like the one on a T610,K700,E700,S65.
and yes many people are wrong.
here's some logic. when people by a new phone 99% of them are very happy and they think they bought the best phone for there money. most of the time its wrong. there are better phones, but people just don't mind looking, recieved bad info, are to affraid to change brands, think that they know it best. well thats we today we don't live on the moon, don't have flying cars, and can't operate are house with our phones.

I agree most people buy a phone from a particular brand and stay with that brand rather than look at what is on offer in the market place i know i said some flattering things about nokia but i still might get the sendo x or the motorola mpx 220 you should really look at every brand try as many as possible and chose the best for yourself

^Agrees
I have bought for the past year and a half or so, so i decided for a change, and went (back) to Nokia, at least for a while, I may even try something else, as long as the phone is good.

If only everyone would do that the market place would so more exciting more brands would try harder to win customers you just dont see them trying anymore

Your hilarious comments around the web just doesn't stop amusing me. It's a good start for a day to read some of Bart's comments and get some good laughs in the morning. That really helps you going through the long day... |

Just put in the fact that Nokia got a lower than expected sales/market share early 2004.

Honestly, there are people here that would die for a brand... but face it, its a phone. If it suits your NEEDS and wants go for it, irregardless of the manufacturer or even if it's made out of cardboard. |
