I may be wrong but I believe there are 1000 milliseconds in one second so 350ms = .35 second (just over a third of a second) and 1 minute = (60 x 1000ms) or 60,000 milliseconds.

It is my understanding, as a physics student, that there are 1000 milliseconds in a second but you'll find that most devices e.g. stopwatches will only record milliseconds to an accuracy of 2 figures so when you watch shows '35' in the millisecond section it means '350' milliseconds. |

Yep that's right.
I made a mistake.
But the time on the phone is also different.
And then 1000 millisec. is not 1 sec.
