Seems like you are a victim of the marketing machine whose mission is to create needs that do not exist, so that people buy it's products they don't really need with money they don't have to impress people they don't like.

HAHAHA LOL !!!!
i think its pretty basic here people! your friend gets a phone from a different brand and you want to beat him or her in having the best gadget/phone no matter how much it costs or no matter how far you have to drive to get a really good deal on it but you just HAVE to get the best out there!! i'll have to admit that i like to talk and bragg about my new K700 which is not officially available in the U.S. and i always like to talk about its features and of course make all those moto's and nokia's look extremely shitty!! but oh well even if we do change phones every 6 months or every year we still like to be happy about our phone even if we max out half of our credit line in our plastic but what the hell we only live once... might as well live happy and be the envy of some!!! |

@sbjg: What you mentioned in your post is what makes us human... but of course, it does not apply to everyone...

@spora: Mr. Bean would probably call himself. I know he's the kind who would send letters to himself just to let others know that people send him mail...

@damo -> the 'damsel' in lot of stress ... come on 'father' .... dont be rude to your children. Dads are meant to be ATMs for their children ....
If donkeys could be sad, how come you are a dad? |

Note that my 'protective' nature is mostly because out here in India, if something happens to your mobile, its not easy to get it fixed. Also, you are better off fixing it yourself then going to the support centre. They will spoil the phone in front of your eyes. And if its a SEP900 - I would probably 'sell' it off the moment I notice some problem rather then trying to get it fixed.
Getting those accessories is another nightmare. Do you know that I spent 8 months trying to get a USB cable for my motorola C350?. Sounds ridiculous doesn't it?. When I see you guys saying ' I took it to them and then replaced the whole set' .... I get a mild heart attack ... nothing of that sort can happen here. .... if the set gets screwed, get it framed and put it in your showcase. |
