i think it's when you get a text or a call AND you're browsing a wap site it will sometimes reset. [addsig]

@kim no, just at an error page or without any reason. Nokia 3510i had the same problems.

I have the same problem with my T616. I got my firmware updated about a month ago. The problems started happening soon after. While i'm browsing the web, my phone will suddenly shut off, and then in a few seconds turn back on. When my phone turns back on, the Bluetooth is turned off, but the more menu has 'turn on bluetooth' and 'turn off bluetooth. I think it may be the new firmware, but i'm not sure if there is anything better out there. I am using Cingular in the US and they will upgrade it for free but it's not easy to get a hold of the tech at the store a 1/2 hour from where I live.

I have firmware version R1A054. Does anyone know if there is a newer version of firmware for the T616?

Thanks

That reminds me of my old Ericsson T39. Some units seems to had the issues with GPRS browsing - phone resetting by itself.

My T230 also has its share of bugs. Like it always shows a text msg icon on the standby screen. Another lil bug is, it occasionally displays the message ' data account not set up ' at regular intervals for no apparent reason. Minor bugs!
