right..
so is there anyway of compiling the files or are they completely useless?

I have a funny feeling that this would be a useless activity even if the files did work... what the hell is the point... have people no lives of their own...
Bluejacking is utterly pointless, maybe a giggle for five minutes, but this phone hijacking crap should be disregarded by anyone with an ounce of sense or decency...
Just remember, if you are able to do it to others, they most certainly can do it back to you...

Well that was written as if things never advance... You know, "maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow..."
My statement was made on a moral basis i suppose... just because the P900 is apparently not susecptible to such an attack at present - which may mean you, if I be so bold as to assume you have this device or one of the others apparently "immune" - it doesn't mean that it is justified to use such underhanded and, dare I say it, pilluckish "tricks" on others, not to mention the fact that it surely pushes the boundaries of the law...
Why people go out of their way to cause harm to the property of another is way beyond me - maybe such individuals are jealous that others can take pleasure in being happy, rather than causing unhappyness - now run along and play little blusnarfers (preferably near something electrified with water nearby, and a large ditch full of sharp objects, better still, are those flights to the moon available yet? thats more than 100m away surely !)

I completely agree with KSE. Blue snarfing is completely unethical. I always thought that ESATO members stick by a certain code of decency....oh well I guess I was wrong.

Bluesnarfing outside a proof-of-concept lab setting reminds me of a nine year old boy stealing his teenage sister's diary.

Did anyone even look at the presentation on the website?
Their is no discussion about bluesnarfing.
The whole idea of Bluesniff is that is makes it easier to use Redfang: a brute force MAC sniffer for identifiying bluetooth devices that have the "discoverable" mode turned off.. Further more it also presents a simple way of looking for "discoverable" bluetooth devices.

I do wonder to whom the term "idiots" were referred to, as it's such an endearing adjective really...
To be fair though I could not be arsed in looking at the website 'cos it's such a pointless activity even if it were possible - I think I got that point across at least...
Futhermore, if the morally upstanding amongst us were actuallythe "idiots" as so put, perhaps you should actually read the title of the post - regardless of what the website suggests, this topic has been almost solely about blusnarfing, not bluniffing...
Now stop making me bump this topic back to the top of the list will you !

I found a java software for the pxx0 which i think is used for blue-snarfing. It seems to work but I havn't tried it whith a other BT phone, just my computer. It can discover devices and show information on the device such as services and stuff.
You can find it here:

The app is called "BlueToothHacking"
