Why don't we call and send a lot of e-mails to SE and tell them that we cant customizable SMS alert tones!!!???

I would be more interested why donj they let it to leave us the choice and/or why they decided those alerts.

Horrible alerts, I love the SE original alert that is also included on my P900,worst of all is that I can not hear those included on my K700 that I am forced to use.
We all know that on next SE mobile S700 is also not posible to use mp3 as sms alerts

My Sagem MYV-65, you can set anything as your ringtone.... mine is SlowJamz (o yeah, i can record anything as a .AMR file and use that!!!!)

I dont think that 2 long beeps are so much to ask. Even nokia offers the old sounds and alerts in new format in the latest fones.

No, there must be a reason to make alerts like this. Ps: maybe thf daughter of the fw developer liked it. Sorry for my offtopic comment.

At least in the k700 the sms alerts sound loud enough, louder than in the t610. I also find this is pure marketing: whenever we hear one of the predefined tones, we know its a SE;-)

At least I know its my phone getting a message. When someone with a nokia gets a message or voicemail everyone around reaches in their pockets and checks their phones. SE isn't so popular as to have this problem yet, until that this starts happening to SE customers I don't think we will get much of a customization option. |
