That service only work with simfree Z1010.. just read it somewhere, And I hope it's not true, couse mine is locked to Comviq...

Cant be true because the guys with the K700 are reporting that they will update with whatever firmware is on the phone eg vodafone branded.

you mean where u can buy them?
http://www.nymax.nu sells them for 399SEK, you can also try with one of the servicepoints in Sthlm, don't think ordinary dealers have them

So has anyone yet managed to update the Z1010 yet? Reading on the K700 post and interesting topic, Regarding flashing locked phones and removing the content from it.

Dont quote me, but the suggestion is you plug an UNBRANDED Z1010 in the cradle,whilst it is checking and has confirmed the version you quickly remove it and then stick the LOCKED OR BRANDED version in the cradle.
Obviously this will involve 2 Z1010's but hey its worth a try.

Damnnnnn I get my dss-25 today and now the service is down...I remember it downloaded the first time, but unfortunantly I have just done a fresh install of XP....ARGHHHHHH (i hate windows). So any updates yet guys? anyone managed to do it yet...
