Once you have paired your phone with your PC and added a BT Serial Port in the BT Properties (local services). You should see a Port number listed for the Serial Port. Mine is Port 4.
Then in the phone connection manager, just put a tick by Bluetooth Port 4 (or whatever it is on your PC) and your phone should be automatically recognised when it comes into BT range.
Works for me with a SE P800 and a Belkin 'Dongle'

does anyone know where to find the com port number on an ambicom air2net dongle it doesnt seem that obvious ( or im obviously missing someting) |

hey .. whats the most common reason that a bluetooth dongle and a phone (in my case Z600) might not be able to see each other, although they used to and nothing has changed?? |
