Don't know if this helps or not, but on my data cable thre is a button that switches it into charging mode and it charges off the usb. If that's on then it won't connect as a data cable and will also keep bring up the optimised charging message when you restart your pc.

Search for a witch on the data cable and press it the other way.

But i dont have any switch m8.
Can any one post some links for specs of drs11 .i want to know each connection from rs232 to my mob.

hello
im new to these forums and i have a t610 with a data cable but i didnt get a cd with the cable
does anybody knw where i can download drivers that will work with windows XP and the t610, i only want to transfer files.

Do you have an original SE cable? If so, do you have a DCU-11 (USB) cable or a DRS-11 (RS-232) cable?

To download the driver for the SE DCU-11 (USB) cable, go to Sony Ericsson - USB Cable Driver for Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP.
