microwaving my brain |

When the television first came out, people ran around claiming they give you radiation poisoning. I personally haven't heard of anyone dying, or getting cancer from TV's.
They also said sitting too close to the TV will make you blind, yet we now have computers with monitors that we sit 2 feet from. I haven't heard of anyone going blind from this yet either.
Microwave ovens were also feared in the 80's, for their supposed cancer causing microwave leakages. Again, I'm not aware of any recorded cases of MW-oven related cancer victims.
And today, we have the cell phones and apparently, not only will they fry our brains, but all men will become sterile from carrying cell phones in our pockets.
If you wanna get paranoid about your brain frying, why not go the whole 9 yards and start wrapping your gnads in aluminum foil, you know, *just in case*.

A few years back i saw a report on the bbc about someone who worked for BT (british telecom) and he was always on the road for that tallking into one of his four cellphones, averaging 4-6 hours of mobile calls a day.
After a while he got the feeling that everytime he made a call someone put a giant thumbscrew around his brain and started screwing it tight.
He eventually couldn't be near a cellphone without terrible headaches.
Furthermore, a dutch research organisation linked to the government (TNO) recently did a study of UMTS-frequencies, whereby they put people in a room where there was a UMTS-antenna or something and people got nausies and headaches...

All time on a phone....
Room full of radiation....
Hmmm....
It takes us to go to extreme to prove it out.
This way, even the things known to be good for health will make us sick.
*** It's not about radiation ***
TOO MUCH OF ANYTHING IS HARMFUL
So, anything certified to be within acceptable limits shall better be accepted.

There was a report in the press this week about men in Greece who keep mobile phones in their trouser pockets or on thier belts having a lower sperm count than average.
People are always scared of anything new aren't they.
Where I work there are lots of speakers & electronic devices around.
All of my collegue's phones cause interference on these devices when they make calls/recieve SMS messages/access GPRS.
But my P800 sits 3 inches away from a speaker and never causes any interference, no matter what I do.
I think it has much better built in shielding than most cheap mobile phones do.
The level is mentioned somewhere in the manual, could be worth comparing to see how safe Px00's are compared to other phones.

my p800 does annoyingly interfere with my pc speakers even if it.s 2 meters away and the speakers are shielded. that doesnt mean, thiugh, my brain,s getting fried.
like lomeone said, too much of anything is dangerous, so...
i reiterate, there.s no particular danger we face while talking on a cell ph! it.s just bullshit. should there be nausea or i dunnow what, just connect that to the fact that our brains work on electric impulses. too much of cell talking time does interfere, just as it does to my speakers or whateva. but you wont die of it.
ps. dont buy the alledged radiation absorbers (they really absorb radiation but...) thus the only thing they do is to increase the transmitting power of a fone resulting in bigger radiation exposure!!!
uuuh, i wouldnt wanna risk that!

what else was told about that man?
His medical history... eating habits???
or is it that _only_ mobile phones affect sperm count
None of these reports have shown volumes or repeatability conclusively.
Enjoy....................

my mate and I was on the phone for about an hour, he has
a Nokia I have a P900 I told him my ear a was hearting he
said his was too and he always gets that when on the phone
for a long time.
I find it hard to believe that the tiny amount of power of a
mobile can cause this but all the same it was pain.
