on mine if i put on silent the camera click goes away it's a uk one from expansys.

I am glad you get click noises on camera phones, all these strange folk taking pics without you know. You do know camera phones have been banned in some countries so think yourself lucky you can use them

Pretty sure all uk k700 are silent when you put it on silent and take a camera pic, so all you people who got imports....

I really do hope they make a feature in the firmware to turn of that annoying camera shutter sound!

I don't know whats all the fuss about. In normal mode when i click silent, neither the camera nor the video recoding makes a sound.

Well the thing is people with cetain k700's cant silent the phone when its put on silent!

Got a new k700i yesterday from the CPWH no shutter click when the phone is on silent.

meeezz, thats the same as pressing (and holding) the C button, and/or choose a profile with zero ringing volume (like Meeting) - it still has shutter click!

I don't know what all the fuss about the camera sound. Mine in normal mode when put to silent dosen't make any camera shutter sound!!

@gseth, the fuzz is exactly that for some of us, the cam shutter sound does NOT go away simply by entering silent mode- you have to enable a profile with zero volume ringing.

thats not even true all the time
when my k700 is set on 0 ringtone volume, the camara sound is still there and as annoying as ever!

is there no way in hell to turn off this bloody sound!!!

i updated my firmware to r2ae033 and still have the camera sound even if i put it on silent or even meeting with all the sounds to level 0.
