Yippe!!! The baby's sitting on my desktop and getting charged!!! Few things I noticed: The battery cover's a pain to slide down Or am I missing something ? Thanks... guys! Any other tips/info suggestions invited!!!
edit: i jus noticed the ph said batt fulll...then i removed plug and inserted again to check. It started again charging fer 5mins or so and then stopped... so now wht shld i do? jus switch it on or try again to chg???

@ayush thats ok if the battery cover comes hardly down, thats normal and shows it in good condition. dont worry about the 'recharging' aswell, thats ok. nice to see how excited u are happy for u, its a great feeling.

Thanks for your help buddy! Another thing:) i noticed a slight horizontal line on the viewfinder while taking pictures! What should this be?

@ayush, you should charge your battery for it's 'virgin' charge for about 16 hours without taking it off the charger.
I know - it's very tempting to take it off after an hour - and yes, I've done that as well - couldn't resist having a good fiddle!
There's nothing like buying a new phone! Except perhaps the first time a phone you've just fixed powers up and works perfectly

Don't buy se t 610. It's not so good phone and today even rather old one. I have the phone but I'm not happy with it. Charging problems, slowly unreliable soft, not readable screen on the sun crappy slow wap browser and many other little problems.
