Hi all,
I'm very happy with my T68. I never failed in the last 2 month. It is alomost perfect, and I would never ever give it back or exchange it for a Nokia.
Remember the times when the nokia 7110 was supposed to come out? also remember the tons of bugs it had when it finally came out? the was scary. but the ericsson guys did a real great job with this T68.
and please, please, don't compre the T68 with a siemens phone in terms of reliability. here in germany many people use various siemens models and I hardly found anyone who does not complain about it (battery, Software, crashes, display....)

I think you should read the whole Forum to see how many people are happy and how many are NOT, Most of the Forum are complaining.

Now let us put the subject back on track, Complaining DOES not mean that people hate or don't like the T68. It means that they have problems with their unit ...that is all to it.

NOW I guess we have to know more about the Units country of manufacturer, the software version and what trigger the problem the user is complaining about so a new buyer should avoid buying that unit which have that combination or at least check that before buying one.

I will start with my self, My unit is made in Malaysia and the software version is R1B and it went totally dead when I changed the text size to Large.

FYI. the agent will replace it but I have to wait because they run out of stock (Fast moving )

According to box "made in Sweden". Guess it says the same behind battery.
Color: Lunar Grey.
Version R1C (R1B when I bought it).

NO problems

(Use GPRS, bluetooth, IR and so on)

BTW : a lot of the stuff that people write in here, are not complains,..its more like questions,..things they cant figure out themselves, and they need help with it.
And e.g. when someone write that "sms is slow",...WELL, that might be true, but it doesnt make the phone "faulty".
Another thing that hasnt got anything to do with the phone itself, is operator related problems.
And again there are some problems with e.g. synchronization with pc. WELL, we all have different pc-settings, different windows, drivers, and so on. There arent really 2 laptops that are alike.
There are so many aspects.

But Yes, improvements can always be made, and thats exactly what are doing by releasing new free software-versions and a variety of free synchronization-programs.

Hello,

at firs sorry about my english but I´m from Germany.

I´ve updated my T68 to SW R1C but I have the same problems with Bluetooth than befor. I have a Elsa Vianect blue handsfree (Car kit) but if I select BT automatic in my T68 it doesn´t work every time. Normaly if someone calls me the T68 must connect with the Car Kit. Sometime it works but some time it doesn´t. Whenn I select BT on it works fine and the Elsa Car Kit is realy got. You can use the voice dial with it and it works very good.
Does someone know when the next SW will come (for Germany)?

I'm participating in a test with MMS and have a beta release of the software on my T68. There is a lot of new things in the new software.

* MMS
* Hidden games are still there.
* IMAP4
* Faster menues compared to R1C
* Personal picture album.
* etc...

I use a Bluetooth headset. You have to put the bluetooth mode to ON, if you want to use voicedialling. It was the same with the T-39 phone.
Its the same with e.g. a bluetooth car Kit.

This is just to tell you, that its not a problem you have,..it simple works this way !

It would be nice, if the bluetooth could just stay on "automatic" all the time,..it would spare the battery
