it is one of our neighbouring countries in the ASEAN region..... but nope, never been to the philippines before. just a case of so near and yet so far  but i'm sure it's beautiful

I haven't actually been. And i only said what i said to spark a reaction, and it seems to have worked. 
But i dont actually have a real opinion on the place. I can't tell what the place is like from one photo. You don't know whats happening to the left or right of that beach do you?

Still a bit unsettled isnt it? what with the crazy geurillas and muslims...?
Thats not a racist comment by the way masseur, im just stating that i believe it to be true that some areas of the philippines are still unsafe for westerners (christians).

I was in the Philippines last month visiting my girlfriend who is a Pinay and lives in Manila. I spent all my time in Manila, but will visit Boracay and Baguio the next time I go there BTW my gf was in Boracay on a vacation till today - just got an SMS from her. Now I see what she meant when she said its lovely out there on the beach!!

funny thing, when i was atthe mall in cebu by the entrance there was a desk and a sign saying 'leave your guns here' hahahah rofl
