Today I was told by Orange they have no idea on these phones but 3G is currently being tested.
Vodaphone told me they have been testing for a while but don't expect to release 3G service until the end of the year and also have no idea on the phones.
T-Mobile did not know when their 3G is starting but I spoke to one of their Reps and he said the K700 is out in June.

Apperently you can get 3G from vodafone but only in London and only on certain business contracts. |

we gonna be waiting ages for K700 to come out just like Z1010. It'll probably be delayed, then delayed again but SE would want to have competiong for the 6230

Dont bother with a phone shop worker. Theres more knowledge in here about mobiles than every phone shop on earth.

I dont think SE can afford to make people wait that long for new phones. I think after the Z1010, SE wont want to wait.

SE only put the Z1010 on hold as it was made for 3g. The K700 is only 2g and so will be released as expected. And for the K700i, im clueless!!

Z1010 is due for release on Orange in June, but like Orangeman says, 3g will only be available in major cities at launch |

Ok, Here goes.
I have read all the replies and thought I'd do a little more investigating.
The K700i on Orange, Launch date is the 28th May (Approx)
The Z1010 Should Lauch Early June
and yes these dates could change.
Orange Shops and 75% of Orange Customer Services are not aware of these phones. the reason is that the computer with the latest phones on has not been update. (This will be updated shortly)
A certain number of Staff at orange yesterday were handed a update regarding latest handsets on a piece of paper and so far not every one has the paper.
The 3G network is due to be release in the next few months, however that doesnt meen it cant be released tomorrow. The network is ready in London and major Cities. What major cities I'm not sure just yet.
I have heard that the Z1010 should be released on Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone and 3. There has been no mention regarding o2. I would have thought however that the phone would release on o2.
Hope all the above helps.
A bit of History for you now.
Orange indeed was owend by Hutchinson. However Orange was bought by a company called Manesman who also owned Vodafone.
Manesman was told they had to sell Orange and thats how France Telecom purchased Most of Orange and the Logo. However Hutchinson still have a right to use the Orange logo in Hong Kong and Australia.
T-Mobile used to be one2one in the uk and is owned by Deutsche Telekom. Vodafone is just Vodafone (I think) and o2 is owned by MMO2. However MMO2 may also be sold of in the next year or so.
Vodafone are the largest subscriber in the world with T-Mobile, Telefonica, Orange and TIM being 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.
Hope all this helps
