lol. Its also the name of a 3g network that operate in the uk and other countries. They are far from what we expect of mobile service in the uk. Back to the thread. Z1010 is to out of date now. It had good specs for when it was announced. But technology moves on so fast. It will still be a good base hamdset to enjoy 3g services on.

Hi, I am on orange, and I always wanted the P900, but I just checked this phone out and it sounds really good, and smaller, please can someone advise me,
P900 or Z1010?????
I really don't know which one to get, but this one sounds great because it has all the features of the P900, the only thing I'd miss is the built in speaker.
Please help....
Am I also right in saying that this phone has dual band, thus meaning, that it won't work in America, or am I just mistaken, also it seems pretty big, but I suppose compared with the P900 it isn't that big!

The Nokia's already been replaced by my Moto A835, which after 6 weeks has started to f**k up worse than my Nokia. I only use the 7210 for wap and when my 3 fone goes down, ie every half hour.

it depends on what u want with the phones! p900 is probably the better phone if u have the money because it is like a mini personal computer. you cand download apps,themes, browse the real internet, get games and applications to suit ur needs, it isfast but unfortunately a box that is quite big (no style compared to p800  ). Quite expensive but if u have the money then id wait for an se s700 - and get a t610 for now. the z1010 are ok but i was gonna get one but now i am savin for the s700. the z1010 is more of a z600 with a few extras (a couple more grams have been added to!

imho yes. Look at the current 3G handsets. Some are on par & even surpass the 1010. Like I said, it will be a good entry level 3g phone for the other networks.

Has anyone thought that maybe SE has delayed the z1010 to add some more extra features that would make it a little bit better. What I mean is that maybe SE saw that it took them too much time to release the z1010 and that the phone was in fact "old news" by the time that it was ready to be released and maybe they want to redeem themselves by adding some new features as quick as they can (like 200K screen and MS DUO PRO) so that the z1010 wouldn't be old news...
Just a thought that crossed my mind... |

u are ABSOLUTELY right. actually, in this thread, it says that a lot of things for example the memstickduo have been updated.
and guys, seeing as  have not actually confirmed the release date of the 'old' z1010, theoretically they can do what the hell they want? maybe they are contantly changing and modifying it in secret. who knows. but whats for sure is that are not stupid and when they do finally release the z1010 it will for sure be worth buying!!!

Re the Z1010 has anyone ever actualy seen one in the flesh? I am begining to feel a "big foot" myth comming on, loads of grainy shots, loads of rumours, loads of excitment, but, no actual phone yet I wonder!
I have owned the ... T68i T610, P800, P900, P910, P990, W950, P1, W960 But SE have now totally lost the plot. |

I agree with Twism. Would be good if they upgraded the screen and added MS Duo Pro support. They need to introduce Pro sticks in phones as SD cards can give phones 1GB at the moment.
