I said it before that SE is filled with loads of crap. Anyway i made up my mind sometime ago that its not worth the hassles buying SE products, instead i am going for the new samsung, i dont care if it comes out next year. As for p800 count me out, i dont wish to talk about software upgrade in my life again.

My god, I have never met so many complaining people in my life. Grow the hell up.
So what if the T68 wasnt launched with every feature it was launched with? You surely found out about this, why didn't you people just return the phone then? Eh? Oh I know why, BECAUSE THERE WAS NO OTHER GSM PHONE OUT THERE THAT WAS BETTER. And before it got released, all you nagged about was when it was going to get released, and that SE was a terrible company which never managed to release the phones on time. Are you ever pleased, ever?
So the T68i comes along, and it has the features that the T68 missed, surely this would mean the upgrade for T68 would be out as well. But it isn't, and my guess, is that it's the conversion process which is making things harder.
One thing is the few lucky who has contacts within SE, and got the upgrade and it works. That might still be a beta, and maybe it still has problems with converting 1 out of 10 phones, which would spell disaster when everybody runs to get their phone upgraded.
Why can't you people just relax, enjoy what you have, and when the upgrade is out, you can get an even better phone, and my guess it that it will be unmatched for some time to come.
Some of you need to learn that being an early adopter has it's price, and also, sometimes, things doesn't always go your way. Deal with it.

Why exactly should being an 'early adopter' mean we put up with a load of cr*p? Its only because of the attitude and overtolerance of people towards companies that allows them to get away with it; if you advertise a product with certain features, you expect those features damnit, whether you buy it the day it comes out, or 6 months down the line. Being early adopters of a new technology does not mean we have to put up with constantly inaccurate release dates, a lack of communication both internally and externally, and an all-round incompetence.

Knut G.,
I am glad that you feel relaxed about this. Some of us don't like being ripped off. If no one complains then companies (not just phone companies) will feel under no pressure to sort out complaints. After spending £200+ on a phone I expect it to deliver on its promises. I have waited 7 months after all - I think that is long enough.

The release of the T68m upgrade software will not be until sales of T68i's has met a predefinied target. - joke! hahahah Seriously tho doesn't it seem funny that they are the 'same hardware' but that it takes forever to get the upgrade software out? While curiously enough the T68i's are readily available? Hmmmm.... Of course I will admit that I got a T68i but I like the new casing as well.
Here's hopeing for some end user software upgrades on the P800.

Knot G, Its not that i dont have the software everyone wants, infact i have the t68i and the t68m. Most of my mates have the t68m, so tell me what happens if the networks start the mms? What will happen to all those people with the t68m but no upgrade are you going to tell them to take it easy?

jb there are a lot of other features (speed, faster T9, more room for images, support for the MCA-20, better usage of memory, better melody capabilities and many other things) that make this upgrade a must! MMS is the last thing we look forward for! |

Well, ok. Heh. But then your case pretty much disappears, doesn't it?
"They promised us mms, so we want the new upgrade NOW and it can't wait another week! Nevermind that no operator has implemented mms yet! And oh, we don't really care much for mms, it's all those other goodies that took like a couple months for a team of developers to write up for their new product that we believe we should have too!"
The cool thing here is, you will have your upgrade in due time. It's not like your missing out on a business-opportunity. You won't die. Worst that can happen is that you won't be the first one ever to send MMS in your network.
You used the phone for, what, seven months. There was no MMS implemented in any network, right? Did you badly miss the MMS-compatabiltiy in your phone during that time? Surely you can endure another week, two at the most. |

other features Like (speed, faster T9, more room for images, support for the MCA-20, better usage of memory, better melody capabilities and many other things). These make this upgrade a must! MMS is the last thing we look forward for or not really care at the moment...
I sold my T68m & Get a T68i. But If other Brand have Same Features
Phone Coming out when i want to get a new phone, I will remind myself for this kind of BAD Experence bring us From Ericsson & i will Not Pick E/// as my choice at that moment... If everybody think in this way, then E/// maybe learn a new lesson later....
