I bought a "Retractable Audio / Headset Adapter" from www.pc-mobile.net and it worked OK for a while, but the cable is cheap, especially the insulation - which has worn away near the junction with the microphone and now does not work. I bought it just a few months ago, but unfortunately have taken it apart to try to repair it (thereby invalidating any warranty/consumer rights). I'm not impressed with the build quality, considering this costs about £20! |

i got a stereo jack and thay still dont work ( only one speaker) .i think the internal jack socket isnt standard you have got to rewire the lead to get stereo sound .its the mic input that stop it working |

@bahbahsupercar
so are you having one of those sp8aa right now?
from what kesgreen has commented. the wires are of poor quality.
and i definitely would not want to buy a earpiece which will only last for a few months |

No. I am not convinced. I have bought one of these instead...
Available below, its expensive and you cannot use a mircophone, but it is the least sticky out and the sound isnt bad at all, as long as you have good quality ear phones.

If you like a rich sound and becasue there is no grafical equaliser on the P900 I would suggest these...
Available from the usual places.
On the other hand you could get a Sony Ericsson HBM-30 which is a whole different kettle of fish.
I am getting one soon. I am exausted now.

i bought one of the SP8AA's about a year ago and have never had any problems with it.
it sticks out a little but not enough that i can't put my p800 in the crappy SE case that it came with when i go running.
sound quality seems fine to me as well as long as you don't use the crappy earphones that came with the phone.
the retractable bit for the cable tends to get tangled up when retracted though but the extra length of the adaptor combined with the length of the cable on my headphones means that I don't have to extend the cable.
