or you could just buy a usb mmc reader. much faster and very reliable. in xp, all you do is plug it in and it will do the rest by itself. no extra drivers needed.

I use my mmc reader with XP

I got beta drivers after calling the help line found on -- http://www.scmmicro.com/

Difficult at first then I associated the drivers with 'system device' in the hardware profile and it all worked!

I have just purchased this said mp3 player and am impressed with its size and the little sound I heard briefly this morning. However as a windows xp user I am rather unhappy about the fact that I have now spent the best part of the day trying to get the crap software to work. On top of that, I cant even add anything to the mmcard using plug and play as I am repeatedly told that the card is not formatted and despite a number of efforts I cant carry this out.
Any ideas would be appreciated as spending the money out for another reader makes it pointless buying in the first place.

Hi everyone,
Houston I have a problem! Well, I bought the HPM-10 with the MMC- reader. First I installed the newes Ericsson win2000 driver on my xp pro system and it worked, but It is impossible to uninstall the driver aferwards because it then says that a certain logfile is not valid or has been corupted, The same happens with Sandisks driver.
So now I'm looking for the xpbeta driver on the manufacturers hompage
http://www.scmmicro.com
But I can't find the the mmc reader in question.
Does anyone know what the "SCM-name" of the MMC-reader is or even where exactly I could get this xp-driver (beta) for the MMC-reader.
By the way I bought also a 128mb-MMCard from Transcend and it works fine.
Help me!
