Here is what i think..
The K700 does look to me that it is more middle end phone rather than a high end like the t610 was last year. It only maks sense that SE wanted to quickly release an advanced mid-end pone like the k700 asap and delay a little the release of its high end "t650"
Look at the s65... is the k700 really SE's answer to that phone? I doubt it that's why i am pretty sure that SE have got a phone up their sleeve...
The K700 does not break new ground from the t610, its merely an update a facelift etc... real innovation in the footsteps of the t68 and t610 has to be expected in another model |

I would have thought (and hope) that there is a candy bar version of the s700 , as i would prefer something more restrained.

i guess se thinks that the s700 is the competion to the S65 - cause this one is really innovativ [great screen, great cam, ms duo, swivel, alu look, flash], even thought its already out in japan,
yeah sure when open the s700 it's huge and thick, but it is still innovativ
se can sell the k700 cheaper than siemens the S65 because of the cam and se will sell their K700 before siemens sells their S65, that are two advantages that can make up how the future of bove phones will go ... but still we don't know all the facts of the S65

Personally I think that the CX65 is the "competition" of the Siemens K700, the S65 for the T650 and the SX2 (also swivel) for the S700. I think SE wins in all categories. It all depends on when they come out, cause I might go for the S65. |

but is the phone is truely a reality.. then why did SE not show it in CeBit?
wouldn't it be the logical thing (to show the phone in CeBit i mean)?
...
aside from logic, if this T650 is true.. and lives up to the Specs that were written, i will pray day and nite for this phone...

I have the very same thoughts as Berserk-KW: Wy wasn't the SE T650 (2004Q3) presented at CeBit as the SE K700 (2004Q2) and the SE S700 (2004Q3) if it is a (future) reality?
Can anyone from SE (inofficially) confirm the existence of a T650? Has anyone from SE already done it?
If there will be a T650, will it be worth waiting for? Or should I stick to my current favourite, the K700. What's the major pros and cons?
The K700 - What a phone...

I don't think the k700 looks that impressive, and i doubt it's a successor to the t610 personally. They would carry on using the t-series, as it's certainly the most well known of the SE lines. I think the t650 does sound quite possible, and i also think that the s700 was shown, and the t650 not because the t650 will get instant recognition and acclaim, simply as the successor to the great t610, the great successor the the t68, etc. The S-series is new, so they'll want to get it established. Also, about the t330.
Seing as the t300 was just a t68i minus bluetooth, and with mophun, then the t330 sounds like another logical one. SE's current high end phone, minus a feature.
Just my thought's, of course. |
