i don't like the idea of no msd my self, but its good for SE to do it this way. there caution, they want to go step by step and there always 2 steps ahead of the rest

and i looks like there gonna go for the number 1 marketshare in america.

YouŽre forgeting another item: price!

IŽd bet that k700 will be alot cheaper than 6230 (remember t610 vs 7250i).

1gb mmc cards are due out or maybe even out. i see no reason why the nokia wont support bigger size cards. the se looks far nicer. in terms of price i guess it depends were you live. everyone says nokia are more expensive yet in the uk ( on contract) nokias are bugger all mostly free were as se on the equivlant tariff are more.

nokia site is wrong..i had a 256 mmc in my 6600. nokia also states that if don't use one of their mmc's you void the warrenty.

32 isn't that bad remember the mp3 attachment it only came with a 32 mmc.but data transfer will be brutal

The MP3 player in the K700 is just there so you can be able to have the latest song in yur mobile. Nothing more (apart from being able to say it has one ).

what is this mp3 thingy about ... can you transfer mp3's from your pc to your phone[K700] with a cable or with bluetooth or do you have to download it from the mobile web

[edit] btw: have you ever thought about what would haben if the K700 would support Memory sticks:
it would be larger [thicker]
and it would be more expansive
its totaly oaky that only the S700 got memory stick compatible, but i think its very cool from se to give us 32MB storage ... they learn out f mistakes, another point why i love them

And what about Siemens CX65.I personaly don't like it very much and I go for the K700i,but doesn't these 3 phones (6230,K700 and CX65) belonges to one category, because they'll appera on the market at one and the same time.I personaly wouldn't buy 6230 because it has MMC.

BTW:Should I up/down grade my P900 to K700i.(I should know becouse now I can sell it for good price, later it'll be very low).

don't forget that the S700 won't be out for a long long time.
and yea those 3 phones our in the same line. and i think the nokia is very bad, not because it has an MMC slot wich is good for a phone to have, but its a nokia and that means bad menu, bad support, functions that don't work good and no regular software updates. and don't forget the screen, its way to small!

wow... here we go with the nokia hating...

i personally think there is nothing wrong with the menu.. it's just simple, support from my experience pretty much the same as SE. But SE international warrenty is better. functions work fine ..have you tried a 6820. everything works fine to me.. they use bluetooth differnetly so what? there should be NO need for regular software updates. my t616 has r1b and it fixes everything and i don't want to get another update if i don't have to. (too much trouble..got to go to a service centre or pay some dude $50 to flash)

i agree the screen is small adn should be bigger though.

and "hacker" whats' wrong with mmc??? it's a better choice then sony ms duo. At least i can get 256-512mb in a mmc. and it's cheaper too.

@DragonEye
Maybe I haven't told it clear,I like MMC/SD/MSD/CF and all kinds falsh cards.I would like my phone to have it,but I wanted to tell that I prefer K700 to 6230 even it hasn't got MMC or SD or MSD.I like the phone and this function isn't the sense of life for me,I can't live without it in K700.Is it clear now.

PS:I'm not very well with the Englis,so sometimes I can't explain what I want to tell

still prefer k700 than 6230..
i concern most about the flash storage but still i like k700 the most.. for mp3, k700 able to store 5 to 7 mp3 files is ok for me, others let my sony md handle it...

why not put atrac3 into k700 also... resize into LP4 format will save alot of space...

yay nokia bashing time again! there are other phones out there that can ne better compared to this phone. more coming out soon too. why compare to only the 6230?
something that is complex and sophisticated is not always the best and reliable. what is simple is better.

Guys,

Dun you forget about Sendo X. It has more features in its class compare to SE, Nokia and Siemens. I love SE K700 design, but when it comes to features by features, I still prefer Sendo X!! It is just the best phone so far. Unfortunately, it is still unavailable in the market. I hope Sendo X won't be just another good phone inside the X-File, aka. Just a concept only.

Cheers
