I buy and sell at bidshot.com, it's actually an auction site but its more convenient unlike other auction site na kailangan pa ng credit card. kailangan nga lng Beware sa bogus bidders or seller. you should check feedbacks first before making a deal. naloko na din ako once dun e. trusted the buyer agad, he ran away with my Casio GPRS watch paying only half of the amount we agreed on.

I hate to admit it...but YES. im guilty!  techie freak ako pero medyo stupid at times, hehe. anyways, ive a lot of basis and site to check din if wat im getting is ok and ndi ako lugi. Most of the time I check bidshot nga for price comparison and then foreign auctions like ebay. and count all the advantages and disadvantages of getting a bnew and used things.
If u have internet access nlng din, well, use it a lot. research helps a lot.

just curious, the 6.5k 128mb ms duo that you bought, is it blue or white? may difference ba ang price ng white sa blue, given that the blue one is the newer and faster model/version? |

I dont know if there is any difference between the blue one and white one...i got the blue one anyway.. maybe u can tell me if theres any difference @ julia...

that's the reason then for the higher price. yung blue pala ang nabili mo. am not sure abt the exact difference between the two, ang alam ko lang mas bagong version na yung blue kesa white. and it's supposed to transfer data faster than the white one.

the white one is a Magic Gate memory stick. Magic Gate is a technology of Sony used for copyright protection. on a MG stick, you can copy music onto it but you cannot send it to someone else.
fortunately, MG is not supported by SE phones so you can pass on music, files, etc with out any problem. that's the only difference.
in terms of speed, i don't think the faster ones have hit the market yet as they have only recently been announced. if a salesman tries to sell you a purple one for a higher price, then i am pretty sure he is just scamming you. |

to make you feel better.. 128mb Memory Stick Duo
white is the first batch of ms that came out... obsolete already.. the price was as high as P7,500 last year (april to july).
blue- high speed (but im not sure if P8/P9 can see the difference) it is now flooding the market.. i was selling it for P4,500 (before the exchange rate hike) but now i have no more stock available.
you can go to semicon rockwell and ask the staff where you can buy it.
if you guys have been visiting pinoy chit-chat.... probably you can buy the ms duo at cheaper price.
