Are Nokia really that shite even though they are still selling 1 in 3 mobile phones worldwide? How could a company become so popular if their products are all shit?
As for Flying Finn guessing at what this strange model has.. havent people done that about the T650 AND the t630? I remember people saying that the T630 was gonna have a 1.3megapixel camera, but they were just guessing.
I'd love to see Nokia release a phone with great connectivity, features design and longetivity much like a T68 was when that was released... I bet most of the people on this forum will still bash on saying its shit and a brick.

I agree totally with MixiN and it does annoy me too as soon as the word Nokia appears that it becomes bashing time regardless of
While I respect peoples opinions I do feel that alot of the bashing is posted just to be seen to be part of 'the gang' or something as there is rarely any other useful comment and it is usually regardless of the actual phone specs (when known)
I have owned Nokias before and I expect I will own a Nokia again sometime although I am currently on the longest run of phones from a single manufacturer that I have ever had!
regarding the keypad caff, yeah, that does seem to be something Nokia are experimenting with a bit when you look at the 7210, 3650 etc.

i too agree with mixin, flying finn as i can remember didn't post crap at any times , i mean 90% of the threads are crap, he was always right about nokias,
you can't deny that nokia has good technology in their mobile phones and 6230,6600 are (strange) well designed
the only reason i don't have a nokia is the design, for instance if nokia will put a 7700 in a p900 case the good bye se!
but ppl have different tastes....
and this nokia is very similar to t650 nobody saw it only one pic appeared on the web and now you guys are bashin flying finn for making a rumour?
i mean c'mon!
i think it's sad that people are extremely offensive to nokia on esato....

I think itīs great that nokia and other brands are trying to bring some competition.
Take T630 against 6230.
6230 has EDGE, MP3 and MMC and costs 140$ more
Edge doesnīt work at many places, few dont want to pay 140$ for MP3 and MMC so T630 will sell great anyway i think |

though MP3-player + T630 is more expensive and you need 2 devices!
Ask P900/P800 users why it's better to have more in one!

It's pretty easy to guess the features it will have judging from previous Nokias.
The screen looks like their 3G screens, 128 x 160. 3G Nokias always have BT. All colour Nokias have Java and the latest ones also have Java 2.0. WAP 2.0 and XHTML are also standards for Nokia these days. If it has a MP camera, I can imagine it having and MMC slot. Most Nokias also have an FM radio, so an MP3 player would make sense, especially if it has an MMC slot.

ok... as a BIASED person on this..
T650 and this mystery phone cannot be compared besides on looks..
and since the T650 is the T630 with a different keypad, I'll go with the nokia...
hell, I'm get a 6230 in 2 weeks...
I think that the phone for a person is not an but a w/e the hell suits them
this brand bashing is getting ridiculous... sure, nothing can bash the P900.. but the other phones hv to fight their own fight and just cuz se made the P900, doesnt mean all their other phones follow the same grade 'A' production *cough* Z200 *cough*
despite all this, I do see y ppl flame flyin finn.. basically, his comments r out of place, and disses SE on an SE forum and boasts that a 3310 is better than a P900 becuz of the brand...

I've switched from Nokia to ever since I used the T68i. But I'm still waiting for 's answer to Nokia's 6230. The 6230 will most probably be in market in the next 1/2 months but the 'T650' or a comparable phone from (with same form factor/size etc.) is not announced formally. Also, Nokia is still the better than when it comes to network strength and T9 sms. I'm willing to swear by phones but still has a long way to go... |
