ok, got 593.5 a few more times again.
it seems its just a matter of getting the angle right so that the pingu comes down and can skim across the surface. If you hit it too high he comes down face in the snow and if you hit him too low then he skims a bit but not far.

Yep there are two versions of that game and we call the faster one chernobyl penguin :-) i got about 317 in slower and 588 in faster one :-) i wanna play a smash nokia game

I tried putting it in 500 pixels wide (which is the standard width here) as I normally would, but you couldn't see the distance properly so I left it at the size I captured.
Happy to remove it if people aren't happy.
Just thought you might wanna see that.
