Looks like you'd be better suited with a dumb phone like the Motorola Razr. Good luck. |

@abritten,
No problem mate, we're all here to help!
Where are you located? If you're in the UK, i'd be more than happy to inspect your P900 for you to find out if the screen is at fault, before you take the plunge into buying a Moto Razor.
It does sound like a complicated process, but once you've done it a few times it's fairly easy to do.
If your screen turns out to be faulty, i can order a new one for you for around £65, and fit it for you for a minimal charge. I don't run a business so i'm not looking to make big money out of it, i'm just trying to help you out
If i can be of any further service to you, do not hesistate to get in touch via PM.

I live in Spain and work in Russia, near Vladivostok, the chances of getting help out here are pretty slim. I'll change the phone out when I get back to Spain in February.
Thank you kindly for the advice and offer of help.
It's still under warrenty so it should not be too much of a problem to change. I see also that other people have had a similar probelm, so my guess is that its a design/engineering/manufacturing fault.
I wonder if anyone form SE reads some of the posts we send in, and i WONDER if they do anything about the issues raised? It would certainly help them improve quality, reliability and save money in repairs and parts in the long term. Agian thanks for your offer to help, I'm glad there are still people out there who like to offer help. |
