Now I've certainly missed something... This isn't the service menu it's some other menu.

Ik get a menu named 'Personal' with 3 options"

Network (in my case unlocked)
Network-subset (also unlocked)
SP (also unlocked)

All offer the options MCN2 and MCN3

[edit] previously discussed in the following thread, it is indeed part of the service menu. http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=31524&forum=2#post438928 [/edit]

no i don't think you can access links to threads via wap, so here are the main posts:

-------------
Coolio787 posted:

in the service menu, theres an options called "text labels" which has all the labels for every single menu and option in the t68i. is there anyway to change these? for example, instead of "fun and games", "If your bored..."

thanks,
conrad

no... you can't change them

rudeboymcc posted:

would be cool thoguh. i[m sure someone couyld make a computer program that can change them? if you can change the firmware on a phone then how hard can some text labels be?
--------------
Cytech posted:

if you want to change them... you must get hold of the source code for the firmware (which easier said than done)... you can't just change it by connecting the phone to a computer and using some weird program
--------------
jb posted:

Actually, if you have the firmware image you CAN change it and upload it to the phone. Older ericsson phones (i.e. 337/338 hehe) had the ability to dump their firmware over the serial line. I don't know about T68.
---------------
rudeboymcc posted:

so how else would se upgrade the firmware? do they open up the phone?

siemens sl45's can have firmware changed with the cable that comes with them.
----------------
Cytech posted:

the firmware on se phones are updated with the help of the software EMMA.... this can only be done by servicepoints...
---------------

that's about it, hope this helps

text labels are preset texts that are called in and respond to a certain event.

For example, one of your text labels would say 'Item not supported' and the label is connected to events when your browser cannot access the requested page.
