If you report it stolen, don't you need a police report to prove that it was stolen?

BTW Im sure an 14yr old cant sign an insurance agreement in the UK. Surely thats illegal (Im guessin the insurance is in ur dads name), just like a 14yr aint allowed to have a 12 month contract.

Its interesting to see the lack of personal integrity that some people have and how willing they are to admit to being low-life, just to keep up with the jones'

If this is where this guy is at in life at 14 perhaps we can all plan to visit him in jail in his 20's

but despite his personal failures, what gets me about all this phone fraud, and there is alot of it and this isn't the first time someone has discussed premeditated insurance fraud on Esato, is that the end result is that it costs us ALL more in phone insurance.

cheers mate!

Also quite easy to go to a phone shop, wait till the guy's back is turned or he's attending to some customer then grab a P900 and run! Since you're willing to commit a crime to get your upgrade

As far as I'm aware, there's no shortage of P800s at the moment.

Also, I believe the plan is to replace them with something like a T68i or a 7650 currently

Carlsb3rg,
Why be jealoux of someone who has the same thing as you do? That doesn't make sense.

I think what people are worried about is if you give everything to a child, even things he has absolutely no need for, he will never learn to respect the value of money and the amount of work it takes to earn them. If you look closely, you can start to see the result already...

@sbc_dk

Damn right. The kids sounds spoiled and as someone posted above, he doesnt realise that his actions have consequences for everyone not just for himself by hiking the price of insurance for the rest of us.

No wonder people say kids with p8/900 are spolit bastards its kids like this that give them all a bad name. They only want the phone as a status symbol . Plenty of people havent upgraded as the p 800 does enough for them.i ve no problem with any kid having that type of phone esp if there using it for what it was designed.its the ones who just have to have it to say they have got one to get one over on there friends who cant afford one

As someone has already pointed out, I think some people are annoyed because it's this sort of behaviour which puts insurance prices up, which most of us have to pay because we genuinely want to just protect our phones.
