I figure the same place they placed revision specs on the current update. You'll just have to keep checking.

Can you upgrade your firmware as often as you want without any damage to your P900?

CDA: CDA162003/1 R2A10

:s:s:s I'm from belgium and I bought my P900 2 weeks ago in a SE center

I've the following vers :
Phone : CXC162022 R3C006
Bluetooth : CXC12529 R5D
Organiser : CXC162021 R2B02
CDA : CDA162003/3 R2B01

I never didn't an update since I bought it. So what is the diff between the two CDA's? why one with a 'A' and mine is with a 'B'

So is it a real new version or just a localised new version

Well boys, I have made an online update and I have exactly the same versions as BigFeat is stating - CDA R2A 10. But I know a lot of people they did the same, but got CDA "B" something exactly the chap from Belgium is stating? Why is it so? Is that somehow connected with restore after updating firmware??

I think the A, B or even "C" Question regarding the CDA part is depending of what kind of "Internationalized" Type of P900 you've got:

As you may know, there are different versions of the P900-Preload/HW (?) --> 162003/1, 162003/2, 162003/3, etc or even 162004/1, etc.

Some of these codes depict some Provider specific versions of the P900 (the unfortunates of Swisscom P900 can't flash their device, because there is no new firmware for their P900's)

Mine is a 162003/2 (German, Italian, French, English) Version.

My firmware release level (flashed somewhen in December 03)

is

phone: CXC162022 R3C006
Bluet: CXC12529 R5D
Org: CXC162021 R2B02
CDA: CDA162003/2 R2C01

So i've got even a "C" on the firmware of the CDA part.....so do not worry...

P900 rulez!

gadgetboytom,
Maybe we have a pattern here, because my P900 is 162003/5 too, after it was updated from 162004/3 Orange. Have you tried online updating before? I would like to know if it will revert to Orange, like mine did on an earlier occasion...
