Nice english ;DDD Anyway, it is not color conflict. All colors are ok. It is someghing with images compression. For some reasons avery picture I make with Photoshop it's not recognisable ;DD It is definitly the compression of .jpg or .gif file. So... If somebody can explain how these things works ;D he/she can be a winer of a bike ;DDD

Best Regards,

What I do, when working in Photoshop, I use the option 'save for web' rather than 'save as' and then save my images as .jpg files (quality 6) which gives me nice images that aren't too big.

Hope that helps.

The images are not the problem. I believe that there is a colour clash not highlighted by TCPro. You can prove this by removing all images from the theme, saving it and uploading it the phone - it still doesn't work.

Is your site down? I cannot download any of the themes.

As for colour clashes: make sure your 'background' colours are very different from your 'text' colours, make sure your 'operator name' text in the wallpaper is visible, ie make sure the text and the shadow are not the same or very close to one another as your phone will not handle this.

OK I managed to download 'NightElf' this time and I have found the problem. it is indeed a colour clash and it's sad that TCP does not alarm you for this.

However, I'd like to refer to my post in this thread for the bacardi theme. I assume that you have the very same corrupted file.

Then, your NightElf. Look at the image below. I have circled the changes that I made, ie the cursor and the prompt colour. They were black in the file I downloaded from your site. As you see, the background colour is also black. So the way your phone reads the file, your background and cursor and prompt are the exact smae colour, hence neither your cursor or you prompt will be visible. This is not acceptable to the phone, therefore it treats the file as corrupt. The background is the colour your window would be if there were no picture attached. It does not matter to the phone that there is in fact a picture attached, it simply will not allow those same colours to be used.

Hope this helps you.

all of you guys are so ignorant, it's his site!

Ok, dude, I had the same prob. with my site at first...
You need to be able to add the .THM MIME type to your site.
Usualy this only comes with pay sites, or you can force a mime type file.

The best way to do this (with f'ing stuff up) is to see if you have a .htaccess file in your site address, if you already have one, you need to edit it.

if you don't have one, you need to add one...
there's a post somewhere about this, search around the net (or maybe even this forum)

This file I'm talking about just tells the server how to act when a file is being accessed (aka make download show the download window instead of trying to open it as text and make web pages show as text and not pop-up as a download)

oops, sorry...I was too caught up in thought, I get angry on boards easily (Too many others rip on people, and I caught on)

If it helps, I did find that there is some really wierd error in the SONY THEME MAKER, where it would read all the pics...I found out that it can be fixed by either (i did both) compressing the JPEGS more or reloading (clearing then loading back) the images into the theme.

Maybe you might want to try it, or possibly even switch to the sony theme maker.

I understand you're trying to help pal but try and keep nice pls! I did a web downlaod and send files to my phone via so MIME types do not bother me too much.

Skullmonkey have you looked at the bacardi theme in my post in the other thread (see link in my previous post)? Is it the same Bacardi theme? If so I have it on my PC and it's working. You can PM me your number and we'll attempt to send t through MMS then.

Or in fact, I now managed to download Bacardi as well. See below.

Same thing, text and background colour are both black.
