Thanks for the link. You just read my mind coz i was going to ask whether Package 5 was the right one to install.

Next question, do i have to uninstall the one i have right now or i can just install package 2 over it.

Good we have DSL in the office so i can download the software without using my personal ISP.

TIA

i had no problems installing over the old software.
everything went well and the sofware connects with my T39.

I will be able to test the T68 tonight when i get home.
Will keep you posted.

BTW, the software still looks the same as the old one. What was changed (added/deleted) from the old one

I forgot na. It was software that was on the CD with the phone purchased early December 2001.

Anyway, as long as it works (keeping my fingers crossed till tonight). I was also able to connect using the cable to Globe GPRS and it was OK.

Thanks again

My wife just finished transferring all her phonebook entries from her 8210 to the T68.

She did this by copying all the SIM entries to the T68.

She then transferred her SIM back to her 8210, deleted all the entries in her SIM and then copied the rest of her phonebook entries stored in her 8210 to her SIM.

She then transferred the SIM back to the T68 and then copied all SIM entries to phone again.

She now wants to store all the improtant number to the SIM as well so that she can still access the numbers just in case she has to remove her SIM and use another phone.

The question is, can the PBTM do this ie, transfer selected numbers in the phone and store it in the SIM?

Yes it could.

But the SIM card entries can only support one number for each contact, that is why the default storage area is the phone's memory.
