Yes,you can send SMS for free,if u choose that option after each recharge. For example,ie you recharge with $30,you get 60 free SMS. If you charge with $200,you get 1200 SMS for free, which is amazing. If u r making more phonecalls,u can choose option Great call rates, instead of free SMS,where ynu can get local call rate as low as 20¢/min to any network in Australia, anytime (if u charge with $200). And yes, incoming calls are free, even those from overseas. If you need more info, just let me kn ow.

With each recharge, you are offered to choose between the 3 options:
-free SMS messages
-Great call retes
-365 days of credit validity
You just have to choose between these options, that is it.
Just to give you an idea of the free SMS-
-if you recharge with $30,you get 60 free SMS
-if you recherge with $50, you get 120 free SMS
-if you recharge with $100, you get 500 free SMS
-if you recharge with $200, you get 1200 free SMS
Then, with the next recharge, you may choose to get Great call rates option. In that case, your option will be changed BUT you will still have the free SMS which you did not spend.

Yep,that should be good idea. And if u plan to stay for longer,u can recharge with $200 and get 1200 sms. That is the best value.

Well,I would buy $200 and $30 recharge coupons. First charge with $200 and get the free sms. Then after 30 days charge again with $30 and choose 365 days credit validity period. That should do just fine ;-)

hey loock at this site: http://www.vodafone.com.au/idd/iddrates.html
Acording to it i can call home to norway for 10 minutes for only: $5,28 Witch is acsually not to bad at all! But the thing is that it say that i need to dial like this:
[0011] [country code] [mobile number with zero dropped]
is this true? If i dial +4722388090 will i not get this cheap rate?

Yes,that should be correct. However, why would u call like that,if u can buy a calling card for $10 and call to Europe for 100 minutes(or even more, depends on calling card)?

Coz my mobile is my life. And somtimes u just need to phone someone home and ask about somthing right there and then But u never answeerd my question? Do i get the cheap rate if i dial +47 instead of that 011 thing? |

From my experience you wont get cheaper call rate by dialing +47 instead of 011. I called to Europe (Slovakia) by dialing +421 and it charged me $1/min,that is a lot. I think the same would happen if u called to Norway. Prefix 011 is usually used just on calling cards if u r dialing Europe. However,I will check the exact call rates to Norway with Vodafone for you. I will let u know if I found something.
