Flying Finn is from Finland, he's just being patriotic... Nokia's from Finland too (and the biggest company there). If Nokia dies, the whole Finnish economy dies. |

isn't the 7700 screen 640*380
flying finn you 've said it's 640*320? |

From nokia.com
Display size: 640 x 320 pixels
I wouldn't go into sales figures when its Nokia vs SE.. and the product hasn't even been announced yet. |

Yes, a power point presentation on a 640 x 320 screen. Isn't that like TWICE the P900's resolution.
Oh and, this post was about the UI, besides, the new Communicator will unlikely resemble the 7700 or a taco.
Actually the calendar looks exactly like the calendars we've seen for years in older Nokia Communicators.

I was talking about screen SIZE not RESOLUTION, moron.
I can make a 1600x1200 screen resolution in a 2cm x 2cm screen and doesn't make it more viewable, does it?
I'm sorry to insist but isn't 7700 a Taco phone AND series 90 phone.
I thought you were the all-documented about Nokia guy ...

The 9210 had Power Point presentations and it had an even smaller screen, I can't see why they wouldn't work on Series 90 devices.
And this thread wasn't about the 7700 being or not being a taco but the Series 90 UI itself. Oh well, forget it.
From Nokias to an SE to whatever. |
