You couldn't... But then again, a killer who couldn't be proven guilty is still a killer.

Isn't it in France that is illegal to bluetooth in general? Since the standard bluetooth frequency is actually a military frequency there? |

NOTE.
I made up a country (Purgruyes) i know nothing of the laws in Paraguay (apart from the rules on acting like a Donkey with a swolen knee in a cafe before 11pm which is the DEATH penalty)

Actually my kind moderator, I beg to differ, you will note from my link that it clearly states it was at least illegal then...

Maybe some day sooner or later you will see the ID of the device... I dunno. I guess that unless there is a 'witness' that saw you using your phone there is really no way of tracing you at the time.
@ pachy: yes....... i overlooked your spelling tho..... i thought you had conjured up your own version of paraguay... apologies

oh, ok, fair enough. thats the first I have heard of that. However it most definitly was illegal in Israel until 1st October so I guess I was right in that respect.
Strange about france though. will have to research that further.

Yeah that is new to me too. And in any case the ban in France has been lifted before enabled cell phones became widespread.... coz all of them have been sold in France

Wow, I made the Esato Encyclopedia stumble!!! Do I get a laser pointy thingy or something
Actually, I think you are saved because I didn't properly write my first post, I meant to say at one point it was illegal, and I never did, so This may have changed by now, and therefore my statement may be wrong. |

The French are a stange bunch, they are still a long way off making laws against their president breaking any law he chooses, which he is immune from prosecution for, untill he stops being the president.
They passed a law once recently banning there radio stations from playing "Non traditioal French music" for a certain percentage of available airtime.
However, i do think its unfair for people to call them Smelly Frogs

Actually Pachy, many countries that are threatened by the amount of media content available in English do this also, Canda, Spain off of the top of my head.
As for your comment about the president, I agree yet, not really able to poke fun at the french on this based on my own countries laws regarding this...
