@sony_eric: thats incorrect. within europe, for example, you can drive on your national licence without the need for an international licence. This changes when you change your residence to another country. Many people in UK for example drive into Europe for holidays etc using only their national licence and I am always hiring cars on my Aussie or UK driving licence and have never once been asked for an internatonal one.

Here is the RAC page regarding this

@mass thanks. Actually there are different laws in different countries. Indian laws suggest that with an national licence you can drive only within the country. Not in the whole of asia. One requires a international licence together with visa and other necessary formalities.

@Sony Eric
You can drive for a year (the first year) in UK with your Indian license

@Orangeman
I think if you ask Mixin nicely he will make good Esato stickers for you. He is a really good graphic designer. And I hope Laffen won't mind that.

@sony_eric, yeah thats why I quoted Europe. I know you are on wap but the page I linked to gives countries outside of Europe for which even UK licence holders need an international licence. Still, for the point of this thread orangeman doesn't need one

@ pachy, a bit like what we did , instead of flying to Italy we drove. We went through, France and Switzerland.

can you cover the car with esato's biggest users usernames, or VINNIEZA in big letters down both sides
