Well maybe she should have just kept this sensitive information to herself instead of telling certain individuals (recipe for disaster) i'm sorry m8 but i dont think there is much you can do except get her to change her number.

This site, if you type the prefix of the mobile phone number will, at least, give you the name of the network operator. As for the rest of the number, sorry mate.

I know what you did last summer...
...seriously just ring the number, with a withheld number and say your calling from whichever network she/he is on (u can use above website for that) and say they've won a free phone, ask them to confirm postcode and I'm pretty sure thay will give it to you. |

Here is a tip from an old rat .. Use the internet to find out the operator network , then memorise the phonenumber and call the operator from a payphone and tell them that your phone have been stolen , they will ask for your number and then just give them the\" bugged\" number .. If it is a prepaid number it will be deleted permanenty and your problem is solved ... Just a tip from an old spy :-)

I am sorry to hear about that. But things like this happen all the time, and the only thing to do is to in to the police to see what they will do... Maybe they can't do anything but it is worth an try... That is what i do if it happens to me... Remember to take copys of all deals you make on the net, and if you get any e-mails from the deal show them to the police but remember to enable the header function becourse they hold a lot of info that can be usede to trace him with...

no, please don't post the phone number here.
we certainly have no way of knowing if any of this is true or whose number might be posted and we are most definitly not a vigilante group so I will be removing any numbers I see here.

Sorry about the last post i did, but my T68i was funny yesterday, but it was only becouse it was almost out of power...
The part about calling the number that they have, will not lead any ware, becouse i think that it is an number that they have got for this thing only, i know that is what i will do if it had been me, and then i will not take the phone if anybody rings on that number... And if i did take the phone i will not belive anything that stupid that they have won an price... Sorry to say that but that will not work...
Find the operetere and call them to close the number, like one of the others say... Say that you have gotr your phone stolen and get the operator to close the number... Then they will have to get an new number, to keep doing it... And then just keep closing the number if it keeps....
Best regards from
Rudolff B Vang

It appears this thread is more about socio-psychology than cellphone technology. But that's normal for Esato
The good solution is to explain the whole situation to that "best friend", providing her with "personal proofs" rather than trying to become a spy - which is a never-ending job... |
