moto v500 vs. se z600 |

The V500 (V525 on Vodafone Only) as a screen size of 1.9 inches on the diagonal and has a high smaller pixel size than the Z600 which results in a much sharper image with better definition for graphics and pictures.
I have played with the V500 and the V300 (T-Mobile Version) and the interface is much improved over old models. For example it is only 7 key presses to send an MMS message versus 13 on the old T720i and I think this is a lot less than Nodia's Series 40 handsets.
Aslo, Moto has the coolest bluetooth headset to go with the V500 |

Also, regarding J2ME games (JAVA), don't forget that the V500 supports MIDP 2.0 while the Z600 does with MIDP 1.0...

I have hade my V500 for a week now. It replaced a Panasonic X-70 (Both on Orange)
I also have a T610, so, here are the comparisons;
Screen: V500 by far the best... Bright, colourful, and pin sharp
Tones: No contest, V500 MP3s are fantastic... You really can use any MP3 as a ringtone!
Data Connection: X-70 would just not work with my Ipaq. V500 and T610 do, without problem, both happy to transfer sounds and pictures. Very stable GPRS access to internet from both phones... a draw
Messages: The entry system on the V500 takes some getting used to, but, after a week of use, I think I can type messages at least as quickly as I could on the T610.
Battery Life: The T610 wins this hands down. The V500 is fine on standby, but starts to struggle when you use BTooth a lot, which is to be expected. The X-70 was just plain useless.
Conclusion: V500 is a great little phone. The perfect update for my T610, and does everything that the X-70 promised, but couldn't deliver. Go get one! |

The V500 looks great but it's my understanding that you can't have multiple numbers for phone book entries which seems quite backwards these days to me. Otherwise it would be a great phone.
Can any owners confirm this. |

Looks like the V500 is one good phone.
Have to check this one out as soon as it is available here in the market.
Have anyone compared the screen of the V500 to that of Z600? I have seen the screen of the Z600 and in my opinion is that, it is one of the best screens i have seen so far for a mobile phone. |

I think that V500 has richer functions than Z600.Better you should wait and get Z1010.
