Hi, I have just got my t610 firmware updates to the latest R3C002.

However i am on Vodafone and this doesnt remove the vodaphone icons branding.

What do i need to do now to get the vodafone icons off and replace them with the nice clear icons i have seen on many other t610 phones?

The guy in the centre said they will be getting some new software in next week which can remove the vodaphone icons, Will this cost me or am i better getting it done elsewhere?

p.s. I dont want it to remove my warranty (i.e. doing it myself )

thanks

If home made flashing can not be done, then, will someone explain to me what is this:

I got MSI Btoes bluetooth dongle, and it came with software of course. In that software I found a Little program called "Device Firmware Upgrade". When I start it, it requires a DFU file. So can I do something with that?

do not get confused.

Your MSI "device firmware upgrade" program is for the sole purpose of upgrading your BT dongle and not a device connected via the dongle.

In this case, it's fairly normal that the flashing can be done with USB.

Flashing of a mobile using a USB cable can also be done (I think masseur mentionned once he had his upgrade done via USB) BUT that is provided you have the necessary programs and firmware files.

Upgrading with "warez" copies of such programs is possible but it is at your own risk and highly NOT recommended.
