Thank you for all the responses, I just wanna ask you a last thing about the treo 600: is it possible to write on the screen as the other palm device or do you have to use the keyboard??

The screen IS touch sensitive, however, for data entry you have to use the keyboard, they have removed grafiti from it.

As much of a b**** that may be for some palm users, I dont miss it, and if you really do want handwriting recognition then there are several freeware handwriting recognition programs out there for the palm OS which put grafiti 2 back on it.

Hmmm interesting.

Does the P800 have better screen resolution?
They both have the same number of colors but the Treo has less pixels am I right?

Is cheaper than the P900?

Great review!

Anyway, Palm already has an OEM Bluetooth adapter, made by Panasonic. It was originally made for older Palms. But since Palm OS is backwward compatible, it (Bluetooth adapter) could be used by any Palm device that has an SD slot. Of course, drivers need to be installed for it to work correctly.

Another question, does the data disappear when the battery is fully drained. I hear that Palms and Pocket PCs experience it. Phones do not.

Great review buddy. Here are few more questions if U can answer.
1). In case you sync with Outlook. Can U add a birthday to one of your contacts and sync it with the Treo. Let us know how it manages birthdays and whole day events because some of the palms suck and create duplicate events or don't sync this at all.
2). Can you add image to a contact and does it show up on the screen when the caller is calling? Also in case you have Outlook 2003 - does it sync the picture as well as the contact info?
3). I don't know how popular WiFi is in England but in USA it is very "hot" topic. Please share your experience if you put your hands on a SD WiFi card.
4). Can you record video with the camera? Can you upload a sample movie and a camera picture?

Thank you very very much

To be honest, I feel appreciated as a customer if the unit I am buying has been properly tested before release and its not left up to me to upgrade the software to fix inherent problems. Anyways, I am off topic...

You may develope niggles with GPRS access

...and if you know someone else with a Treo, see if you can sign up for the PTT (push to talk) Talk Now service Orange has launched..... [addsig]
