I plan to get the p900 the moment it comes out.
Do you know if sman will work on it?
Or are you going to release a version which will be compatible?
I would love to be able to use it, having heard so much about it.

ajack managed to get his hands on a p900 for 15 minutes about 2 weeks ago. sman runs on it except for some minor screen size problems in FC mode. that has since been fixed. the current release should work just fine on the p900.
if it doesn't when SE finally releases it (keep in mind, the firmware in the final release is likely to be diff. from the one ajack tested - which was an engineering unit), let us know and we will try our best to make it work!! |

- If you have more than 99 applications installed, SysInfo will cause SMan to crash with reason number 11.
- From the "Main Shell" module, the "Options" -> "Start" causes SMan to crash with reason number 11

yes, we are aware of the bugs. we've already fixed them but we're holding back on releasing 1.2a. reason is we want to see if more bugs surface so we can fix them all and put out a complete 1.2a instead of a 1.2b, 1.2c, 1.2d etc.
sorry for the inconvenience. |

Droll, im experiencing a prob with bluejack notifications. when i try to select an audio file, only midi files are available; none of my wavs.... should this be the case? |

@droll
The functions in Tracker like Today, FileMan, TaskMan and Desk view may be nice and pretty but I must say a big congratulations on SMan 1.2 as it is more POWERFUL that I could've ever imagined! It's an extremely functional app. A lot of people say that Tracker 3.1 is the killer app for the P800, but I think it goes together with SMan 1.2 to be the killer combo for the P800!
So when will 1.2a be available? I think it's a good idea to hold off briefly to make sure all bugs surface but I get the feeling that as soon as everyone gets it, they play around with it to the nth degree and find all the possible bugs; so I don't think that many more will come to light if the don't within the next few days.
Thanks again.

First of all I'd like to say that I've read this forum since februari when I bought my P800. Didn't become a member until lately. I haven't posted a lot before, because I and find my answers.
SMan1.2 is really great, I use it constantly. Thanks droll and ajack!
Bugs/improvements:
---Autostart---
SMan starts ok, but with Tracker 3.01 I can just see the top bar while the hotkeys work fine. Maybe it can be solved with the timing as described in the manual. Or a delay as described on the renegade website. Might have something to do with Tracker 3 as well.
Could also be a firmware problem since I'm still using R2D. I'm waiting for the online update service. Here in Santiago de Chile there's no SP!:???:
---InfoStore---
Excellent function. It would be even better with the copy/paste/cut options when the Do-button is pressed, like in the File Manager view.
---Today View---
Doesn't show all tasks. Haven't figured out why yet. Perhaps has something to do with due dates or alarms.
---The icon---
I liked the old one, but a new would be nice. I enjoy a nice ass just as the next guy, but I'm not a horny teenager.
The bluejack with vibration is the best.
Ignore Harakiri is very useful combined with Tracker / TaskMan.
Overall a must-have-app for P800 |

Hi all,
I have just posted SMan v1.2a for everyone, all know bugs have been fixed. Do give it a try and let us know if any other bug creeps it's ugly head out.
Cheers,
ajack

Great app!
Ok, just installed it and no bugs so far. Didn't get error code 14 this time. That and empty applist didn't happen.. nice!
