no, no, MINE IS EVEN BETTER!!! It refreshes every minute, probably shouldn't be telling any of you this during Playtime games though...
maybe I'll put an if statement that takes out any headings starting with "Playtime" |

cant load wap .wml files on IE at work though. and mobile.esato shows the posts in the last 6 hours, and the same "XXX new posts" since last visit
iesearch.php is a good page, but it opens the pages with all the images of normal esato.. not very discreet is it?

For you who don't know what the Esato bar is. Visit http://www.esato.com/bar/ using Internet Explorer |

@anish
to check the refresh rate, right click anywhere where the Esato data is present (query result) and select Data Range Properties. At about half way down in a section called Refresh Control, you will see a checkbox that says Refresh Every, make sure the box to the left is checked and the input box on the right has a "1" in it. That by the way is the shortest amount of time that excel allows.
This query is based on the page that laffen mentions above. The only thing I liked was that it refreshed often, and that it stripped some of the page formatting. Anyways I don't have a boss to hide from, since at "Fabrizio, inc." browsing Esato is not only allowed, its mandatory...

@Fabrizio
I checked it yesterday itself but for some reason in the properties it has only, 'Enable background refresh' ,'Refresh data on file open' and remove external data before saving' options to check. can't find the other option you mentioned.

I made a new version that doesn't run in Excel anymore, this is a stand alone application, well, written in C# so now instead you need .net framework to run it. If you are interested, you can download the app and the instalation instrutions at: http://www.bartolini.com/ba/esato/EsatoViewer.zip Its pretty customisable, and a lot more discreet.
Regards,
Fabrizio
